1. What is the booking process like?
Booking your Floatel experience is simple. Start by submitting an inquiry through our website with your desired date, number of guests, and occasion. We’ll respond promptly with availability and next steps. Once your date is confirmed, a deposit is required to secure your cruise. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your charter.
2. What should I bring with me?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings. You’re welcome to bring personal items, a playlist for the onboard speaker, or beverages/snacks if you haven’t selected one of our catering options. Don’t forget your camera—this is a cruise you’ll want to remember!
3. What happens if the weather is bad?
The safety of our charter guests is of the utmost importance to us. If the captain deems conditions unsafe to sail, we will work closely with you to choose a new date to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund for your cruise.
4. Are food and drinks included?
We offer customizable add-ons including catering by our exclusive partner, The SoFo Spoon, and a curated beverage experience. You’re also welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Let us know your preferences and we’ll help plan accordingly.
5. Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes, our vessel is equipped with a clean and private marine restroom for your convenience.
6. Can we decorate the boat for a special occasion?
Absolutely! We offer a selection of curated decor packages, from elegant tablescapes to personalized signage. Let us know your vision, and we’ll help bring it to life.
7. Is there music on board?
Yes! We have a high-quality Bluetooth speaker system on board. You can play your own playlist or let us provide a curated vibe based on your event.
8. What time should we arrive for our cruise?
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to ensure a smooth boarding process. Cruises begin at the scheduled time and late arrivals may cut into your time on the water.
9. Can children come on the cruise?
Yes—children are welcome, but please keep in mind that all guests, regardless of age, count toward the total number of guests. We also ask that young children be supervised at all times for their safety.
